TSN is reporting former Washington Capital Glen Metropolit has signed a two-year contract with EV Zug in Switzerland.
Metropolit was a solid role-player with the Caps, though he played more games for Portland than Washington. He had his best goal-scoring season last season for the Habs with 16 markers.
EV Zug begins their season in just 8 days (hockey in August!), so it’s a short off-season for Metro this year. We wish him well.
