Metta World Peace is clearly one crazy dude on and off the basketball court. He's had his fair share of fights and other incidences that are frowned upon by the NBA. Last night he added some more when the Lakers took it to the Rockets and beat them on the scoreboard (119-108) and World Peace took it to Jeremy Lin and beat him literally. (in the face) Check out the video below of Lin fouling Metta on a layup and Metta giving him the backhand for even thinking about touching him.

Metta World Peace is on a short leash when it comes to being disciplined in the NBA, and I’d be surprised if he doesn’t hear from the league on the below (even if just a warning). During Sunday night’s game between the Rockets and Lakers Metta World Peace had a breakaway layup and Jeremy Lin had a hard foul from behind. Ron Ron didn’t like it and as he came down he “accidentally”...
Jeremy Lin says his life has been more peaceful so far in Houston.credit: images.christianpost.com
We all remember the media madness that surrounded Jeremy Lin last season when he started playing for the New York Knicks. Linsanity took place in one of the few places where it could be so overhyped: New York City. Lin become a folk hero literally overnight, and the world suddenly started...
Whenever Lakers' Metta World Peace is on the court, expect anything to happen. Of course when anything happens, it usually involves some sort of physical altercation.
From the "Malice at the Palace," his confrontation with Kobe Bryant to his blatant elbow to Rockets' James Harden's neck, needless to say, World Peace isn't so peaceful.
Well it seems...
During last night's Los Angeles Lakers/Houston Rockets affair, Lakers forward Metta World Peace wasn't exactly happy with Jeremy Lin's ability to get to the basket. In the third quarter of play, Metta was going to the hoop on a fast break attempt and Lin fouled him at the basket.During the end of the play, Metta accidentally swings his elbow and it accidentally hits Jeremy in the face:
Last Monday, the Rockets decided to send rookie Royce White to their D-League affiliate. That was the story anyway. White was actually already not with the Rockets, apparently upset with the organization for failing to live up to its promises in accomodating his anxiety disorder. White has asked Houston to give him permission not to fly on the team's plane to road games and...
Houston Rockets rookie forward Terrence Jones threw down this wicked slam during Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The man who took the brunt of the blow was none other than Lakers guard Jodie Meeks, who like Jones, also played his college ball at the University of Kentucky.
Royce White is having a difficult time transitioning to life at the pro level, and the Houston Rockets may be already regretting selecting the versatile forward in the first round.
So far this NBA season, we haven't had a classic "getting dunked on moment".Last night however Houston Rockets rookie Terrence Jones provided us with one in the third quarter of the Rockets/Lakers game.Watch as Jones throws it down on Lakers reserve guard Jodie Meeks:
Move b*tch get out the way...
While new Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni still hasn’t made it to the bench yet, the Lakers are doing pretty good in their face off against the Houston Rockets. Well, minus Jodie Meeks. Meeks attempted to take a charge from Rockets Terrence Jones and ended up on the wrong end of a poster-worthy dunk. [...]
The shooting guard position in the NBA is at its bleakest its ever been. Is there hope for the future, so guys can pass the torch? The post Changing Of The (Shooting) Guard appeared first on The Sports Fan Journal.
Chalk up another L for the Dallas Mavericks (their fifth in seven games), but color me impressed by OJ Mayo. In overtime, Golden State pounced on Dallas and scored the first seven points. The Mavs were able to recover, though, as Mayo composed an individual 7-0 run to tie the game. He got started by answering a Harrison Barnes three, then brought his boys to within a bucket...
