Michael Bourn is officially a member of the Indians and that means talking to the press, but he was far from alone. Bourn showed up with Indians GM Chris Antonetti, his agent Scott Boras, and his son who could be heard murmuring into the mic when he wasnât cracking up the presser by being what Bourn referred to as a âshow off.â
âEvery team was on my radar,â Michael Bourn joked in his first answer to a question from the Cleveland media about if the Indians were even a thought when free agency began. It was a joke, but it just goes to show that when it comes to baseball thereâs very little bias against teams. When a guy is on the market and seeking a contract, heâll seemingly go where the money is and only split hairs when the money is close or even. Still, the Indians turned the free agency tide this season, so how did they do it?
First and foremost, the Dolans committed to stepping up. Whether it was the windfall from STO or the promise of future national TV revenues, thereâs just n...

Cleveland Indians to give out an Albert Belle bobblehead, and it is awesome
Albert Belle, an imposing and intimidating figure both at the plate and off the field, played twelve seasons in the big leagues, but the eight seasons he spent as a member of the Cleveland Indians made him a huge, yet controversial, star. In 1995, Belle belted out 50 home runs, tops in the American League. Over his major league career, Belle was a five-time all-star, won the Sliver...

With his wide range of tools and power he is exciting to dream on, but he is also very frustrating because of the strikeouts. Tony breaks...

Trevor Bauer is a highly touted prospect recently acquired by the Cleveland Indians from the Arizona Diamondbacks.  He has an incredibly high ceiling in terms of potential in that his stuff, once polished, can be that good. However, Bauer is very young, only 22 years old, and with that age comes a stubborn immature attitude, according to former...

2013 Bullpen Preview
The 2013 Indians bullpen will be the most similar section of the team to the past few seasons with just a couple changes going into the next season. The backbone will be exactly the same as past seasons with Chris Perez staying in the closers role despite repeated trade rumors. Looking back on 2012, it seems that Perez's frustrations with Manny Acta's managing style during...
