Is it possible that the Big 10 will actually place The Ohio State University and the University of Michigan in the same division when it meets later to decide how to realign the Conference.  With its East Coast expansion, the Conference will need to decide how to handle the addition of Rutgers and the University of Maryland. It’s certain that all of the athletic directors have an opinion as to how the Conference should be realigned.  The Buckeyes’ Geno Smith is one who is never shy in sharing his opinion: Whether there is a true geographical split is yet to be determined, but Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith told the Big Ten Network that there is a “strong likelihood” that the Buckeyes will share a division with Michigan.
