Kofi Opare, a defender who played from 2009-12 for the Michigan Wolverines and joined Detroit City FC for its inaugural season, was taken No. 24 overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by the defending champion L.A. Galaxy.

The Wolverines traveled to Peoria, Ill. to take on Bradley in the hopes of giving the team a taste of a tough road environment.
