Your browser does not support iframes. You might have to wipe your eyes to actually believe what you see. Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder, two of the most imposing hitters in baseball, actually pulled off a double steal during the Detroit Tigers’ 9-6 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Sunday. Sure, they got some help [...]

There's a reason why last year Miguel Cabrera took home baseball's first Triple Crown in decades and is threatening to do so once again. He flattens baseballs, enough said.
It may just be me, but I thought that baseballs were not supposed to be able to be flattened like this. You have to love the phantom camera when it produces images like this. All evidence would seem to suggest that Miguel Cabrera swings a baseball bat hard.

We’ve heard of tearing the cover off a baseball, but flattening one? That’s new. Miguel Cabrera hit a home run so hard on Sunday that when the ball made contact with the bat, it flattened. The ball traveled 412 feet and came off the bat at 104.4 mph, according to hittrackeronline.com. This is likely not the first time Cabrera, nor any other MLB player, has flattened a baseball...
Video: Hall of Fame Hopefuls; Price Fielder Coming off an era where it seemed like everyone could be a slugger, it’s refreshing to get back to a game with balance. Prince Fielder is one of these authentic players that bring us back to a simpler time with his enormous frame and natural power. His father, Cecil Fielder, was one of the great power hitters of his day and I remember...
In the bottom of the 5th inning, with a massive 7-1, Detroit Tigers first baseman Prince Fielder turned an incredibly strange double play. Cleveland Indians outfielder Drew Stubbs hit a blooper to Prince, which he dropped. The ball was still in fair territory, but base runner Lonnie Chisenhall didn’t run. Prince casually walked over to Chisenhall, tagged him on the leg and...
The Detroit Tigers will be well represented at this year’s mid summer’s classic in Queens, New York.
Six Tigers in total were selected to represent the American League squad as this year’s game may hold a little more significance for fans given the Tigers being favorites to make another trip to the World Series this season.
For the first time in his career Miguel Cabrera will...
Some years ago, when they were up-and-coming instead of bad, Yuniesky Betancourt and Jose Lopez were both Seattle Mariners. The Mariners are well known for their advertising campaigns, and in one they pitched Betancourt and Lopez as the “double play twins,” middle infielders who did everything together, both on and off the field. Betancourt and Lopez, at the time, had a lot in...
Torii Hunter and Miguel Cabrera are two big reasons the Detroit Tigers have dominated the Cleveland Indians this season.
The veteran pair again looks to lead the visiting Tigers as they try for an eighth consecutive victory over the struggling Indians on Sunday.
Hunter came within a single of the cycle and had three RBIs while Cabrera hit a two-run homer to help Detroit (48-38) to...
After Victor Martinez drove in two on a go ahead double in the tenth inning of Monday’s game, Miguel Cabrera stopped himself from dousing Brayan Pena with a cup of water. After all, Miggy scored from second on the double. Mr. MVP needs his water.

Detroit Tigers: 48-39, 1st Place (2.5 ahead of Cleveland).
Well the Tigers made what looked like a potential blowout game interesting, only to have a bullpen fail that left them a few runs short. The 11 runners left on base didn’t help, former Indian Jhonny Peralta being the biggest offender (6).
At any rate, the Tigers still have an 8-3 lead in the season series, and have a...
