Pro Football Zone:
Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace was back at practice today after missing some time with a strained groin, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
I would be surprised if Wallace plays in this week’s preseason game. Not worth him aggravating his groin.

DAVIE, Fla. -- Sure, the Miami Dolphins line up 11 guys on offense. But none of them so far has been No. 11.
In a scrimmage last week before fans at Sun Life Stadium and in their first preseason game Sunday, the Dolphins were without wide receiver Mike Wallace, their most pivotal offseason acquisition who has been sidelined with a groin strain. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill sure is...

Not everyone was happy with Miami Dolphins rookie Dion Jordan's performance in Miami's 24-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday's Hall of Fame Game. Fortunately for the Dolphins, the majority of those unhappy are opposing quarterbacks and offensive tackles.
Without playing until the early parts of the...
The Miami Dolphins returned to the practice field on Tuesday, hoping to fix the mistakes made in the horrid performance Sunday night to the Cowboys. Sadly, the Dolphins offense failed to give us much confidence that they learned from their errors on Sunday. Moreover, the Dolphins as a team need to begin to show some progress as this preseason moves along. I know, I know, they’ve...
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Dolphins WR Mike Wallace is practicing with the team for the first time in two weeks. Hampered by a groin injury, Wallace put his speed on display by catching a 40-yard touchdown pass from QB Ryan Tannehill during the practice.
Dolphins running back Lamar Miller was seen limping off the practice field today.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Miller will be just fine.

For an owner who has endured four consecutive losing seasons, Miami Dolphins boss Stephen Ross sounds remarkably patient.
He resisted any temptation Wednesday to say he expected a double-digit win total or playoff berth this year, even after he committed about $150 million to free-agent acquisitions over the offseason.
Instead, Ross said he wants to see progress and growth in the...
Victor Cruz is a good teammate, and extremely loyal.
Cruz who just cashed in on a $45 million deal thinks Hakeem Nicks is worth way more than that, and told USA Today, that Nicks should get the same deal that Mike Wallace got from the Dolphins, if not more.
“Absolutely, Hakeem is worth Mike Wallace money,” Cruz told USA TODAY Sports on Sunday. “He’s worth whatever his numbers...

DAVIE, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins locked up one of their defensive stalwarts Tuesday. It sounds like one of their top offensive players won't be a hard sell when the time comes.
The Dolphins signed safety Reshad Jones to a four-year, 30 million contract extension. He's now under contract through the 2017 season.
Miami center Mike Pouncey took special note of the signing...
The Miami Dolphins have reason to be optimistic going into the 2013 season. However, if Lauren Tannehill keeps interrupting practice to chit chat with her husband than they may need to calm that optimisim. Then again, we’re not complaining. Lauren is one of the top WAGs of the league…
And for those Dolphins fans who are going to start spazzing saying she didn’t interrupt practice...
Miami Dolphins talented safety Reshad Jones can relax now, after finally getting a new deal.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida prosecutors have dropped child-abuse charges against former Miami Dolphins receiver Mark Duper.
Prosecutors in Jacksonville, Fla., said the facts in the case did not warrant taking the case against the 54-year-old Duper to trial.
Duper had been accused of punching, body-slamming and choking his 17-year-old son last March. Duper's attorney...
It’s not the time to rally the troops and prepare to leave a sinking ship. It was only a preseason game and the first one of the year, but the Dolphins are in a predicament of sorts. The team everyone is watching because of their huge offseason moves and draft class is under the gun, needing to play better in the second game of the preseason against a Jacksonville Jaguars team that...
