Braxton Miller Left a Walk-On Teammate Hanging, And It Was Glorious

Braxton Miller had plenty of people to high five following Ohio State’s big 31-24 win over Wisconsin on Saturday, so many in fact that he had to snub others. One of those to be snubbed was walk-on quarterback Reid Worstell. As Reid tried to give some love to his starting quarterback and leader, he got denied big time. Wisconsin miscues mount in loss at No. 4 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Braxton Miller sprinted forward, avoided the collapsing pocket around him and zipped a pass that glided through the crisp late-September air. Seconds remained on the first-half clock, and, little did Wisconsin realize, on its hopes of springing an upset to dramatically shift the Big Ten balance of power. Ohio State Freshman Tries To Play It Cool After Braxton Miller Dis

Who are you again?  Reid Worstell? Cool, can you get me a water. Ohio State invited walk-on Freshman quarterback Reid Worstell probably thought that he and Braxton Miller were tight because they play the same position on the same team.  Not so fast, my friend. After Ohio State beat Wisconsin 31-24 last night, Worstell tried to give a celebratory high-five to Miller.  Except, Miller...

Ohio State’s Braxton Miller Back to the Starting Role: Comparing He and Kenny Guiton as NFL ...

After being out with an knee injury, Ohio State’s Heisman contending passer Braxton Miller returned this past weekend against Wisconsin, and showed no signs of lingering injury concerns or rust. Ohio State holds on for win against Wisconsin

The Ohio State Buckeyes (5-0, 1-0) hold on for their first Conference win against the Wisconsin Badgers (3-2, 1-1). There were some concerns that Braxton Miller would not be ready and yet he threw for 4 Touchdowns and ran for 83 yards. The Buckeyes have the luxury of a stellar backup in Guyton and could use him more as they move more into Big 10 conference play. The post Ohio State...

Big Ten Football week 5 rewind

This weeks’ record…2-2.  Overall my record stands at 45-5…my best pick of the week was Illinois beating Miami (OH) 38-17 and they won 50-14.  My worst had to be the Gophers beating Iowa….when Iowa actually handled Minnesota quite easily 23-7. Illinois-50  Miami (OH)-14…..CORRECT….This is what Illinois should be doing…blowing out the worst team in FBS.  Oh and make...

Stave out dueled by Miller in Badgers loss to Buckeyes

This is getting old—losing to Ohio State with Braxton Miller as quarterback, that is.  The dude is 3-0 against the Badgers and he's managed to lead his team to victory in just about any and every way imaginable at this point in time.  However, this version of defeat to the Buckeyes felt very new and that's because it was all about the quarterbacks and Wisconsin...

No. 4 OSU beats No. 23 Wisconsin

No quarterback controversy here. Braxton Miller is back and there is no question who will be leading Ohio State as it tries to get back to the top of the Big Ten. 5 things to know: Week 5 in college football

If you decided to skip college football last weekend, almost everything is right where you left it. The rankings hardly changed at all. Texas and Southern California fans are still disgruntled with their coaches, even after victories. Johnny Manziel is still the Heisman front-runner. A lot can change this week, with plenty of high-profile matchups and possibilities for upsets....

Big Ten power rankings: guest Tweet edition

The pictures for this Big Ten power rankings honor history. Yes I witnessed history today for the Big Ten, and not in a good way.  Purdue gave up the most points in the history of Ross-Ade Stadium (opened its doors 1924) and the 31 point differential in their 55-24 loss to Northern Illinois is tied for the worst ever loss for a Big Ten team against a MAC school. (Toledo-Minnesota...

Badgering the MTB Staff: Ye of little faith in Badgers vs. Buckeyes?

It's Friday and you know what that means around these parts during football season, right? Of course....it is time for PREDICTIONS!!  However, around most parts of Big Ten country and the rest of the college football universe there is a lack of faith in the Badgers to a staggering degree. In fact, I'd be willing to bet some solid money that tomorrow morning not a single...
