The Milwaukee Bucks cheerleaders, known as the Energee! Dance Team are having their final cut tonight at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts’ Peck Pavilion. Milwaukee Bucks cheerleader drama unfolds on the final night of auditions for the 2013-14 squad. The event, presented by SURG Restaurant Group, is free and open to the public, and it is the first time that the Milwaukee Bucks cheerleaders dance team has ever held a live finale at an outdoor venue. The 29 remaining hopefuls have been hard at work at the audition process since June 29, having endured grueling early-morning workouts, long rehearsals and interviews to make it to the finale. One candidate came from Japan specifically to audition for Energee!, and several have driven three to four hours to make it to events during the audition process. The final members of this season’s Milwaukee Bucks dance team will be unveiled after one last performance before a panel of celebrity judges, and there will also be an exciting announcement made at the conclusion of the evening after the team is revealed. After the show, fans are invited to stop by Graffito Restaurant (102 N. Water St.) for the official Finale After Party which tips off at 8:30 p.m. with drink specials running until 11 p.m. ($2 Miller Lites, and $6 red and white wines). Complimentary appetizers will also be available. More Milwaukee Bucks cheerleaders photos Paul M. Banks is the owner of The Sports Bank.net, an affiliate of Fox Sports.
