For Indianapolis, he has thrown 75.2 innings, allowing 73 hits, four homers and 27 walks. He has 58 strikeouts, an amazing 3.11 GO/AO ratio and a .258 BAA. In his last start, which was against Columbus, he went 5.1 innings, giving up two runs on six hits and three walks.

He picked up the loss in his last start, despite an impressive outings. In seven innings, he gave up two runs on five hits, no walks and he struck out six batters. He faced Akron on the road three weeks ago, allowing two runs on seven hits and no walks in seven innings.

Robby Rowland will make his 16th start of the season tonight. He has also pitched twice in relief. On the year, he has thrown 80 innings, allowing 79 hits, seven homers and 33 walks. He has 39 strikeouts, a 1.41 GO/AO ratio and a .262 BAA. In his last game, which came in relief, he threw six innings, giving up one earned run on two hits and two walks. He has not struck out more than four batters in any of his last ten appearances. Rowland faced Tampa on 5/21, allowing five runs(four earned) in five innings. Joely Rodriguez will likely start game two. He has pitched four times for Bradenton and 14 times for West Virginia. Between the two stops, he has thrown 95 innings, allowing 100 hits, five homers and 26 walks. He has 66 strikeouts, a 2.08 GO/AO ratio and a .275 BAA. In his last start, Rodriguez gave up one run on a solo homer, going seven innings with six hits allowed.

He has 15 strikeouts, a 2.89 GO/AO ratio and a .275 BAA. Left-handed batters are just 2-for-20 against him this season.

Adrian Grullon is scheduled to make his fourth start of the season this morning. He has pitched a total of 11.1 innings, allowing six hits, three walks and he has 12 strikeouts. Grullon gave up one run on three hits over four innings in his last start. He threw four shutout innings in his debut, striking out seven batters. He has a 2.67 GO/AO ratio. Second round draft pick Blake Taylor was originally scheduled to throw today, but may not due to the rain out earlier in the week. If he does pitch, it will be his pro debut.
