After the University of Missouri Tigers basketball team posted a 30-5 record in his first season as head coach, many people had seemed to forget that Frank Haith was in the middle of a pending investigation for his possible involvement in illegal recruiting activities.
On Monday, news began circulating that the outcome may be a nightmare for the Mizzou basketball program.
According to Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com, Haith is expected to receive a notice of allegations of NCAA violations as early as this week. It is expected that Haith will be accused of unethical conduct and an inability to promote an atmosphere of compliance. The charges stem from Haith's time at Miami, where he was implicated by Nevin Shapiro of wrong-doing, and it is not believed that he is being charged for any mishaps during his time at Missouri.
