Bristol, TN- One underdog that could shock the world and win the Irwin Tools Night Race at the Bristol Motor Speedway Saturday night is Michael Waltrip Racing’s Brian Vickers. He will start fourth in the 500 Lap race and has a very good car under him this weekend. Vickers enters this weekend’s race with tons of momentum. He was recently announced to be the full-time driver for the No. 55 MWR Toyota for 2014 and has Aaron’s as his backing for the entire season. MWR also announced that he will pilot the Aaron’s Dream Machine for 12 of the remaining 13 races in 2013 starting with Bristol this weekend. In addition, the last time Vickers was in this race car he won at New Hampshire back in July. So, he has the confidence to win since he won in his last outing and the confidence as this is now his car and doesn’t have to split it with anyone anymore. Another reason to watch out for Vickers is he’s good at the World’s Fastest Half Mile. Vickers typically runs up front at Bristol in the MWR ride as he has finishes of eighth, fourth and fifth in his last three races here. Vickers started fourth back in the spring race and was a factor all day. He led 125 laps in the Spring race last year so he knows how to be up front here. With him having a good starting spot and how well Toyota’s have performed at Bristol this weekend I wouldn’t be shocked to see Vickers victorious after 500 laps of racing under the lights.
