NFL News: On Friday the New Orleans Saints signed running back Chris Ivory to a one-year deal. The signing is sparking speculation that the talented, yet unproven back could be moving to the New York Jets for less than the originally tendered 2nd-round pick. Fantasy Ramifications: Ivory has talent, but has never really worked himself up to the cream of the crop for the Saints. He did put up just over 700 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2010 but has failed to even come close to those numbers the past two seasons. The Jets have a talent in making players worth less than their NFL value for fantasy purposes. Avoid Ivory no matter if he is playing in New Orleans or New York this year. He is no more than a low-end running back option in deep dynasty leagues.
