David Wilson is a true home run threat. It’s official, David Wilson is now a New York Giant. The  Giants who open their rookie mini-camp on Friday, have agreed to a contract with Wilson, the running back out of Virginia Tech, they chose in first-round of the 2012 NFL Draft according to a report issued by Wilson, who was selected by New York to replace the departed Brandon Jacobs and team with current starter Ahmad Bradshaw, signed a four-year contract today, which includes a team option for a fifth. Wilson had a breakout season for the Hokies, playing in the ACC, as he rushed for 1,709 on 290 carries to go along with 22 catches for 129 yards. He also scored ten total touchdowns last season, while averaging an impressive 5.9 yards per carry. For his career, Wilson has 462 carries for 2,662 yards for a yards per carry average of 5.8 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. His career reception total is 37. Wilson should fit well in New York.
