What Happened: The Knicks suffered their longest losing streak of the season, losing consecutive games to the Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, and Chicago Bulls. New York closed out the week with a Sunday afternoon win over the New Orleans Hornets. Melo Madness: The Knicks had a date with the Celtics to begin the week, and despite a thrilling win for Boston, nobody was talking about the actual game when it concluded. Carmelo Anthony, who had been jawing back and forth with Kevin Garnett during the game, stole the headlines by first attempting to enter the Celtics locker room to confront Garnett, before proceeding to wait for K.G. by the Celtics team bus. Melo said he simply wanted to talk things out with the Celtics superstar, but the league suspended him one game for his actions. It proved costly, as the Knicks desperately missed Anthony while scoring just 74 points in a loss to the Pacers. Back on the Right Track: After losing three straight games, Carmelo called Sunday’s meeting w...

Kevin Garnett: The most well rounded player in NBA history

Kevin Garnett is on the precipice on joining a very exclusive club. A club so exclusive in fact, that when he joins it, he will be it's only member. With 32 more assists, Garnett will pass Sleepy Floyd for 50th on the NBA's all-time assist leader board (5,144). This is important, because Garnett already ranks in the top 50 in rebounds (12th - 13,566), points (17th - 24...

Carmelo Anthony Has No Regard For The Knicks Or Their Fans

This is weird. And I know if I were a Knicks fan or part of the organization, I’d be pissed. Apparently Carmelo Anthony has been fasting the last 15 days or so. Dude wasn’t eating complete meals. Isn’t he a paid athlete, where conditioning and body preservation are part of his job. Talk about silly and irresponsible. “I usually do it to get some clarity in my life and spiritual...

Carmelo Anthony At Jordan Melo M9 Release Party

Carmelo Anthony celebrated the release of his signature sneakers, the Jordan Melo M9′s, in NYC on Sunday night with his teammates and it wouldn’t be a party without Melo 5, a wardrobe change, and performances by Fabolous and French Montana:

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony admits to fasting for the past 15 days

According to NBC Sports’ Pro Basketball Talk, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony has been fasting these last 15 days.  Perhaps this is the reason why he has been starting off slow lately in terms of his play. Melo recently admitted that he has been fasting and that his energy [...]

Carmelo Anthony ends 15 day fast

New York Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony revealed this week that he has just completed a 15-day fast. That is right, the guy that is averaging 32.3 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game and 4.3 assists per game during January has been going without most food during that period. Apparently this is a yearly ritual for Melo. According to the NY Daily News: It’s just...

Melo Says He Will Definitely Have Bowl Of Honey Nut Cheerios Since Fast Is Over

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony has had a rough week.  He almost came to blows with Celtics forward Kevin Garnett during and after the ball game. Then reports came out that Garnett told Anthony that his wife LaLa, tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios.   Anthony in the past few days revealed that he’s been fasting the past few weeks to gain clarity in his life. Now we understand...

Carmelo Anthony started fast without coach’s knowledge

Carmelo Anthony has a knack for generating all of the wrong attention. Just when it seemed that this year would be different the New York Knicks leader has us talking less MVP and more TMZ. His coach Mike Woodson answered a variety of questions about his recent fast as the team prepared to depart for London to face the Detroit Pistons on Thursday. Please Click Here To Read This...

Even Carmelo Anthony's fans are now getting clowned by Celtics

Would be funnier if it was the real Carmelo Anthony, but it's pretty wild nonetheless. If you don't speak Twitter, basically a Knicks fan by the name of Matthew Shin, aka @Melo4MVP, put out a tweet saying if if Knicks fans retweeted it 2000 times he'd smack Jeff Green in the face at the next Celtics/Knicks game. Jeff Green responded (as he often does to people who say...

Here Comes Iman Shumpert!

The anticipated return of Iman Shumpert is almost here and it could not have come at a better time for the New York Knicks.  It is very apparent that in the last couple of weeks, the Knicks defense is not the same as it was at the beginning of the season.  The intensity and physical play has declined tremendously.  Part of this is due to injuries, but another part is due to lack...

Knicks boss may want to hear what's said to Melo

Listen up! Talk trash to Carmelo Anthony at Madison Square Garden and you may wind up on tape. Days after Anthony's overreaction to some bad words led to an NBA suspension, MSG chairman James Dolan had listening devices monitoring everything said to and by Anthony, according to a report in the Newark Star-Ledger. The report Monday said Dolan had two MSG Network audio technicians...

New York Knicks Hired a Gothic Guy to Tape Carmelo Anthony On-Court

New York Knicks owner James Dolan is one crazy guy.  After Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett got in their heated on court argument, Anthony waited for Garnett at the team bus trying to straiten things out. Apparently Garnett said his wife La La “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.”  The verbal fight resulted in technical fouls against each player, and a suspension for Carmelo for...

NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and Chris Copeland added 22 as the New York Knicks ended their three-game losing streak and the New Orleans Hornets' four-game win streak Sunday at Madison Square Garden. Knicks using high-tech mics to record Melo's on-court chats

The New York Knicks were suspected of using high-tech microphones to record the on-court chats of their star player Carmelo Anthony — and now there is photographic evidence to prove it. The New York Post has photos of one of the technicians holding the small dish-shaped gadget at Sunday's game against the New Orleans Hornets. The Knicks little Spygate has been cracked according...

Knicks and Celtics: A Tale of 2-Guards

The return of Iman Shumpert could spark the Knicks defense. (Chris Trotman/Getty Images) In their last fourteen games, the New York Knicks have gone 6-8. An unsightly downturn when compared to their 18-5 start to the season. Many analysts have already begun to jump ship on the Knicks’ bandwagon, dropping them as low as eighth on some power rankings (despite being just a half-game...
