NIT 2012 Bracket: Drexel, St. Joe’s And La Salle All In

The 2012 NIT bracket has been released and three Philly schools have made the round of 32. Drexel received an automatic bid as a result of their winning the CAA regular season title, but St. Joe’s and La Salle each made the field as well. All three Philly schools will be the home team in the first round. Drexel Dragons will take on the Central Florida Knights March 14, at 7:15 on ESPN3. St. Joseph’s Hawks host the Northern Iowa Panthers March 14, at 7:15 on ESPN3. La Salle Explorers face Minnesota Golden Gophers March 14, at 7 on ESPN2. Drexel & La Salle are 3 seeds, while St. Joe’s earned a 2 seed. Should both LaSalle and Drexel win their first round matchups, they’ll face one another in the second round. If La Salle advances, they’ll take on either the Miami Hurricanes or Valparaiso.
