Behind a third period comeback, second-ranked Boston College defeated No. 5 Harvard 2-1 in Tuesday’s women’s Beanpot semifinal game.
Harvard scored early in the third period, finally able to get on the scoreboard. Crimson first-year forward Mary Parker finished with a tremendous goal as the result of a great pass from teammate Gina McDonald.
However, the Eagles came through with a rally in the closing minutes of the third. Freshman forward Dana Trivigno and third-year forward Taylor Wasylk scored consecutive goals, giving BC the miracle win.
BC will face off against the winner of Boston University and Northeastern next Tuesday at 8 p.m. The Eagles will look for their second Beanpot crown in three years.

2012 in review: To their credit, the Eagles were only blown out by FSU and Clemson, so the team hung tough despite mounting losses that eventually cost Frank Spaziani his job. The only wins were over FCS member Maine and a Maryland team that fell apart in the second half of the season. The Eagles just couldnt score points...
New Boston College coach Steve Addazio says he's only known some of his recruits for about six weeks.
But there's one he's quite familiar with.
Addazio's son, Louie, is a tight end who went to Syracuse last year. He's transferring to BC to join his father in Chestnut Hill.
Steve Addazio was hired two months ago after Frank Spaziani finished 22-29 in four-plus...
The University of Miami Men's Basketball team continued its excellent play on Tuesday night with a 22-point win over Boston College.
So I DVR’d the replay of Monday’s Harvard-Boston College Beanpot game to see if there were any other shots of Boobs McGee. It seems that this is the only shot provided by NESN cameramen.
Watch closely as the camera guy figures out there are huge boobs behind Danny Fick.
We’re still trying to figure out if those are chubby jersey chaser boobs or if those are just huge boobs...
Terps cruise in 85-62 romp over Boston College on Sunday.
End of game, 4-1 BC: Boston College has won the Beanpot three years in a row, and anyone watching tonight’s effort has to figure they’re poised to capture a fourth consecutive, and 18th overall.
In next week’s championship game, BC will take on Northeastern, which beat Boston University 3-2 earlier in the day.
So, thanks for sticking with us on this Monday, and we’ll be back...
