Brene Moseley scored 12 points and No. 5 Maryland remained unbeaten after a 84-36 rout of Lafayette on Wednesday in the first-round of the Terrapin Classic. The Terps (12-0) will play the winner between No. 19 Delaware and East Carolina in the championship game on Thursday. Alyssa Thomas scored 11 points and Tianna Hawkins had her sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and 13 rebounds for Maryland. Essence Townsend and Lynette Kizer added 10 points each. The nation's leader in field-goal shooting, the Terps shot 56 percent in building a 51-13 halftime lead. They finished at 50 percent for the game. Lafayette (4-8) shot just 12 percent in the first half, scoring a season-low first-half points and missing its first seven shots . The Leopards improved to 22 percent for the game. Emily Homan led the Leopards with 13 points. Their high scorer, Danielle Fiacco, made just 1 of 11 shots. Coming off a 16-day break, the Terps took an 11-0 lead, seven points coming from Hawkins. Later in the half, the Terps used a 15-0 run to build a 43-11 lead.
