Patriots-coach-belichick
Bill Belichick has this nice habit. He coaches in Super Bowls. John Harbaugh has established an impressive trend, too: winning playoff games. When they face off Sunday for the second straight year in the AFC championship, Belichick's Patriots and Harbaugh's Ravens will offer further proof of the value of stability. No coaching carousels in New England and Baltimore. Belichick has been on the job since 2000 and has gone to five Super Bowls, winning the first three. One more trip to the big game and he will tie Don Shula for most Super Bowl coaching assignments. ''He never changes,'' veteran guard Logan Mankins said. ''It's always the same way from him. He coaches the same way. He demands the same things. So, when you have that leader in that role, I think it's easy for everyone else to fall in line.'' Harbaugh has managed something Belichick, Shula and every other NFL coach has not: winning in the postseason in each of his first f...

Bill Belichick Knocked Brandon Lloyd Down In A Practice Drill

During ball control drill, Lloyd was knocked to the ground by Belichick. — Jeff Howe (@jeffphowe) January 17, 2013 A.B. Well that pretty much shuts up all the Belichick-getting-ready-to-retire conspiracy theorists. 60 year old Belichick just laid out a near 1,000 yard receiver in practice, just days before the Patriots/Ravens AFC Championship game. I’ll take a coach participating...

Jim Harbaugh posted high school photos of his players on their lockers

According to Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times, 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh placed a laminated photo of each of his players from back in high school and what they were nationally ranked as football players. Coach Jim Harbaugh had a laminated sheet made for each player during wild-card weekend, which the 49ers had off, then surprised the players with them when they reentered...

Predicting Ravens at Patriots; Bill Belichick is excited for the game.

Bill Belichick, Patriots Well Aware of What’s at Stake As AFC Championship Trophy Makes Appearance at Gillette Stadium (Photos)

FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots seem focused and ready to host yet another AFC Championship Game this weekend at Gillette Stadium. On Wednesday, the team even got a reminder of exactly what they will be playing for on Sunday as the championship trophy was on display inside the stadium. The Lamar Hunt Trophy, which is awarded to the AFC champion each year, was front and center during...

NFL Morning Lines

Will this be the last NFL game for Ray Lewis, or with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady get to another Super Bowl. The guys in Vegas have New England at more than a touchdown favorite, but the line has been moving in Baltimore’s direction. The other hot pick seems to be San Francisco, as they are now a 3.5 to 4 point favorite on the road against Atlanta, as everyone seems to be jumping...

Jim Harbaugh: Master Motivator – KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

Jim Harbaugh has never made it to the Super Bowl as a player or coach, though this Sunday marks his third conference championship game appearance and second in as many years. Eager to make good on his latest chance at championship glory, Harbs has been trying to fire up his players by posting pictures of them as high schoolers on their lockers. Coach Jim Harbaugh had a laminated...

Patriots Fan Gets the Worst Tattoo Ever

I'm not one for adorning my body with tattoos for the sports teams I love but hey, that's what works for some people. However, one New England Patriots fan might want to reconsider his decision to feature this tattoo of Pat the Patriot on his body canvas. There's bad tattoos and then there are BAD tattoos, this one is HORRENDOUS. First off, it looks like Pat...

Jim Harbaugh Wants Randy Moss To Be A 49er Next Season

Randy Moss has been on his best behavior this season, even in the midst of probably his worst statistical season as a pro.  Moss has been a pro though and offered guidance and wisdom to the young receivers starting in front of him. Head coach Jim Harbaugh is aware of that, it’s not lost on him, and because of the way Moss has carried himself, he would love to have Moss back next...

Whole Ravens organization backs up Boldin's "We'll win" comment

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh didn't hesitate when asked about the comment his wide receiver Anquan Boldin made. When questioned earlier in the week about his team's rematch with the New England Patriots, Boldin simply stated "We'll win." A quick and light comment, yet it carried so much weight. Boldin basically guaranteed a win for the team....

A Super Matchup

Here’s a bit of trivia I did not know about the San Francisco 49ers until this postseason, when I looked it up: With a 5-0 record, the 49ers are the only team that has played in more than one Super Bowl, and won every time.  There are only four teams that have played in just one Super Bowl, and won that only time: the New York Jets (1968), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002), the...
