LJ may not be streaking anymore, but the Heat still are after beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-100 Thursday night. LeBron missed out on his seventh consecutive game with 30+ points and 60 percent shooting or better by less than two percentage points (14-24). He had 39 points, 12 boards, and seven assists. The Thunder defense did a pretty good job on him in the first half, but after going on the above tear it was business as usual for the MVP candidate. Might as well just leave the steaking to this guy (NSFW).

Russell Westbrook To Reporter: “Bro, What Are You Talking About Man, I’m Out (Video)

Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook has a low tolerance for stupid questions I can assume.  Last night Westbrook and the Thunder lost to the Jazz by 15. Russell had 22 points and 7 turnovers in a sub par effort.  We as media personnel have to ask the tough questions, and this reporter after the game asked the usual rhetorical question, “did you guys lose this game, or did...

Kevin Durant takes a nasty fall (VIDEO)

Late in the first quarter of Thursday’s game between the Heat and Thunder, Kevin Durant took a nasty fall while going up for a rebound.  As he was reaching for the rebound, Durant awkwardly leaned backwards and twisted his body to the point where he couldn’t break his fall. Durant fell directly on the left side of his body, with it appearing as though his hip and his face took...

Russell Westbrook Is Done Answering Reporters’ Dumb Questions

Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder got thrashed by the Utah Jazz Tuesday night, so naturally Westbrook wasn’t too happy in the locker room after the game. While answering the media’s questions in his post-game locker room interview, one reporter asked Westbrook if the Thunder lost the game or the Jazz won the game. A fair question, some might say, but Westbrook was...

CC video of the day: Westbrook walks out of media scrum

As a member of the media I know I have to choose my questions carefully whenever I am covering an NBA game. I have to quickly judge the players' mood, and craft questions based on whether the team won or loss. In other words, make sure the questions are sensible and will allow the player to talk freely for those all-important sound bites. Case in point: this reporter and...

Kevin Durant takes hard fall during Heat/Thunder, gets up (Video)

If you heard a huge gasp coming from middle America only a few short moments ago, it probably came from Oklahoma City as star forward Kevin Durant took a huge fall.It happened in the first quarter of the Heat/Thunder game as Durant went up for a rebound and fell awkwardly to the ground:The good news for Thunder fans was that KD got up and stayed in the game.

Hard fall does not keep Kevin Durant out of the game

The Oklahoma City Thunder got a scare last night when their star fell hard to the court.  Kevin Durant toppled to the ground after being hit in mid-air.  He landed hard and writhed on the floor in pain for a moment, but he was able to continue in the game. The incident happened in the first quarter of the Thunder's match-up against the Heat.  Play continued for a moment after...

State of the Thunder: Rematch concerns

OKLAHOMA CITY If not now, then when? Thursday was a chance for Oklahoma City to show itself as a worthy opponent to the Miami Heat, but after this Valentine's Day massacre, it's hard to figure there will ever be a time or a place where this team could beat that team. Oklahoma City couldn't win Thursday night when everything was absolutely in its favor, so when and...

Kevin Durant takes Nasty Fall during Game vs. Heat (Video)

The NBA Finals re-match between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder was the NBA’s main showcase last night.  Featuring arguably the game’s top 2 players, many were interested to see what the outcome would be. While the game itself wasn’t that close, Miami won 110-100, one of the bigger moments was the fall of Kevin Durant who looked to be seriously hurt. To his...
