North Carolina’s softball team is taking home run celebrations to the next level. After freshman shortstop Kristen Brown homered off Georgia Tech’s Hope Rush to lead off the bottom of the first inning of their game on Monday, she dove into a pile of her teammates who vaulted her into the air in some sort of human catapult/trampoline move. It was unlike any other celebration I had ever seen. The celebration seems to be the norm for North Carolina. A few batters later, Constance Orr homered to make it 3-0, and she also jumped into the mosh pit. The only difference is Orr went in backwards, and was raised up by her teammates like she was sitting in a chair at a Bar Mitzvah party. It’s all fun and games until someone dives through their teammates’ arms and lands flat on their face
