NOT SPEAKING EASY ON YARDBARKER.

Posted June 24, 2013

SERIOUSLY Yardbarker? You took down our spirited discussion on racism?

During this time of year there really isn't much hard football to discuss, and race is an issue not only in sports but in society as well. It's a subject that every person here can weigh in on and has a stake in.

I write this because you are apparently monitoring to some extent what is being discussed on your site (as you should). The thing is we are adults here, and you already feature rather strict discussion guidelines (profanity, pictures, slurs). Some of this admittedly, is due to our own behavior on here. But to start limiting what we can and can't discuss? That's just flat out un-American.

  • It was an article specifically made to attack and accuse an individual of a heinous act for no justifiable reason and with no legitimate proof and you support it?
  • This from you? All you DO is attack, accuse and call people names. You almost NEVER discuss football strategy or go into depth on personnel. Considering how many responses on that post were generated by you, I'd have thought you would also take issue with being "censored". (That IS what you called it when I blocked people.)
  • I made three responses on that post one to tell wood to stop. The other was at you to inform you that using hate to defeat hate the entire post was a personal attack on an individual accusing them falsely of being something they never were, and about the hypocrisy of one calling other a racist while they themselves were completely focused on racism. Now here you print that I NEVER write about strategy, but I'm not surprised considering you NEVER were good at comprehending anyone but your blow-hearted self. The truth is you have cause more confusion and frustration than anyone else here. You have pushed more people away with your elitist attitude, your childish bullying tactics, and your overinflated ego. Despite what you think, I KNOW you have done more harm to this site than good.
  • You could always block me. ROFLMFAO.

Seriously though. Admittedly "never" WAS an inaccurate term to use, and for that I apologize. At times you DO discuss the actual sport.

  • I saw it not long before they took it down. It hadn't gotten any worse. Like you said, there have been FAR worse on here and I know, because I was involved in a number of them.

If they don't put it back up, they should at least tell us why they took it down.
