Notre Dame was so against the jerseys that they had to wear against USF that they voted to get rid of them for the Big East Semifinals. The Notre Dame women’s basketball team did not enjoy wearing the widely-scrutinized Adidas jerseys that debuted at the Big East Tournament on Sunday. The jerseys that are being worn by the basketball teams at Notre Dame, UCLA, Cincinnati, Louisville, Kansas and Baylor have received mixed reviews, but more people are disgusted by them than are actually fans. The Irish wore the new jerseys during Sunday’s Quarterfinal win over South Florida, but when asked about what they thought of them after the game, Coach Muffet McGraw said the team would vote on whether to continue wearing them or not, although McGraw did say she was a fan of the lime green.
