Well, this is pretty strange. PGA pro Matt Every is participating in the PGA Championship this weekend with a monogramed golf bag that includes the Patriots logo with “Tebow 5″. Every was an four-time All-American at the University of Florida from 2003-2006; Tebow began his career as a Gator in 2006, so maybe they’re old buddies or something like that. If not, this could just be a case of Tebowmania invading the PGA Tour. [h/t The Big Lead] Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Tim Tebow to cameraman: Jesus loves you

It was more of the same for Tim Tebow in his preseason debut with the Patriots on Friday evening. Like in his first training camp practice, the ballyhooed third-string quarterback struggled mightily under center, completing just 4-of-12 passes for 55 yards against the Eagles' future cuts backups. And, as the Washington Post's Kent Babb tweeted, Tebow's devotion to...

Tim Tebow turns camera man's mishap into a quick-witted zinger

Say what you want about Tim Tebow, the man lives a pretty religious lifestyle. Maybe someday he’ll have a slipup of some sort, and ESPN can debate whether he’s lost all credibility on First Take (oh the irony that would be), but last night, Tebow’s quick wits were on full display in the Patriots’ locker room. In the Pats locker room, a camera guy has a mishap and...

Tim Tebow Tells Cameraman Jesus Loves Him

I hope Tebow hangs around with the Patriots. While I think at times the networks can overdo it with the coverage, I do think he is an interesting character and he is never out of character. Case in point. In the Pats locker room, a camera guy has a mishap and yells, "Jesus Christ!" Tebow, in earshot, looks at the guy and says: "He loves you." — Kent Babb (@kentbabb...

Golfer Matt Every Has Patriots Logo, Tim Tebow’s Name and Jersey Number on Golf Bag (Photo)

Matt Every is looking to get every advantage he can get at this weekend’s PGA Championship, and that apparently includes channeling some Tebow power. Every was seen Friday sporting a golf bag with the Patriots logo stitched in above a “Tebow 5″ monogram, an obvious homage to Patriots backup quarterback Tim Tebow. While it might seem like the most random and misguided reference...

Tim Tebow Shows Major Struggles Despite Patriots Changing Offense for Third-String Quarterback

There wasn’t much Tim Tebow magic on Friday night. The third-string quarterback was forced into action with 1:22 left in the first half after Ryan Mallett got drilled by Emmanuel Acho. Mallett was deemed “questionable” with a head injury, though he told the media after the game he got hit in the chest, which is what it looked like on television. Tebow completed four passes...

PGA golfer Matt Every is apparently a very big Tim Tebow fan

Well, this is pretty strange. PGA pro Matt Every is participating in the PGA Championship this weekend with a monogramed golf bag that includes the Patriots logo with “Tebow 5″. Every was an four-time All-American at the University of Florida from 2003-2006; Tebow began his career as a Gator in 2006, so maybe they’re old buddies or something like that. If not, this could just...

Tim Tebow to camera man: Jesus loves you

Check out this story from Kent Babb of The Washington Post.   This allegedly happened after last night’s Eagles-Patriots game. In the Pats locker room, a camera guy has a mishap and yells, "Jesus Christ!" Tebow, in earshot, looks at the guy and says: "He loves you." — Kent Babb (@kentbabb) August 10, 2013 I promise that Tebow tweet was 100 percent true....

Tim Tebow hits the field for the New England Patriots

The New England Patriots made the curious move of acquiring free agent quarterback Tim Tebow this offseason. Given the release of tight end Aaron Hernandez after his arrest, speculation began about whether or not the Patriots would be moving Tebow to tight end. Tebow found his way on to the field Friday night, but as a quarterback, not a tight end. The Patriots have reiterated this...

Matt Every rocks a Tebow – Patriots patch on golf bag

Matt Every, a four-time All-American golfer at the University of Florida, has outfitted his golf bag with a Tim Tebow - New England Patriots patch.

Brady the star, Tebow the bit player

Tom Brady walks over to a rookie receiver and, motioning emphatically with his arms, instructs the youngster on some intricacies of the offense. Then Brady chats with his blockers, showing them some footwork he is using in the pocket they form for him. He takes a running back aside, holds out the football and shows him the exact position it will be in for a handoff. Tim Tebow watches...

The Tale of Three Quarterbacks: Brady the Great, Mallett the Marginal, and Tebow the Terrible.

The New England Patriots handily took care of the Philadelphia Eagles in their first preseason game (see the recap by Joe Loubier here). Per usual for Bill, we saw very little of Tom Brady - two drives, and only one of which consisted of any pass attempts thanks to Stevan Ridley's 62-yard run. We would have seen more of Ryan Mallett, but his time at the helm of the offense was...

Bill Belichick Talks About Patriots Practicing Wildcat, Sort of Hints at Tim Tebow’s Purpose on Roster

Don’t expect to see Tom Brady running the wildcat anytime soon. But that doesn’t mean the Patriots won’t at least dabble with an option-style offense. Bill Belichick was asked about defending the wildcat ahead of Wednesday’s joint practice with offensive innovator Chip Kelly and the Eagles. His response was actually rather revealing, giving some insight into how the Patriots...
