NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma freshman quarterback Trevor Knight may have suffered a knee injury Saturday against West Virginia. Knight, who started the game, was pulled out in favor of junior Blake Bell, at the beginning of the fourth quarter, was largely ineffective. He completed just 10-of-20 passes overall and had two, third-quarter interceptions in the red zone. The Sooners went on to win 16-7. At one point, after being sacked in the second quarter, it looked like coaches were checking on Knight's knee on the sideline. He came back into the game and didn't miss a snap until being replaced by Bell. OU didn't disclose any injury information about Knight and coach Bob Stoops didn't say anything about any possible injury. However, according to Jason Kersey of The Oklahoman, Knight's mother Tricia posted on Facebook, "Praying no damage to Trevor's knee." The post was "tagged' from Oklahoma City's McBride Orthopedic Hospital. The Facebook ...

Sooners Going Old School Through Two Games

While it hasn’t come against the greatest of competition, the Oklahoma Sooners through two games in 2013 have more closely resembled Barry Switzer’s teams of the 1970s and 80s rather than Bob Stoops’ squads of the new millennium.
