SEATTLE - Paced by five scorers in double figures, the No. 23 Oregon Ducks defeated Washington 65-52 Wednesday night at Alaska Airlines Arena. With their 81-76 defeat to the Ducks in Eugene earlier in the year, it's the first time UO has swept the Huskies in a season since 1995.
After writing a post about the possibility of the Oregon Ducks going on a reality show to find their next fashion forward uniform (check out their latest helmet and you'll see why) I needed to post something a bit more manly.
Because those helmets sure aren't.
What better way to macho up the blog then to post a highlight reel from the France/Wales rugby match last weekend?
With Wednesday's impressive 65-52 win over the Washington Huskies the Oregon Ducks appear to have broken out of their slump.
Since Oregon's freshman point guard, Dominic Artis, went down with a foot injury on January 26th, the Ducks had been struggling mightily. Prior to Wednesday, Oregon was just 2-3 without Artis and looked far from a top-25 team in his absence.
