Oklahoma State University assistant basketball coach Miranda Serna, who died in a plane crash this month, has been buried in New Mexico. Miranda Serna was remembered as a ''hero'' by family members and former teammates during a funeral Saturday. Serna and Kurt Budke, the head coach for OSU women's basketball team, died when a single-engine plane transporting them on a recruiting trip crashed in Arkansas. The pilot, 82-year-old former Oklahoma state Sen. Olin Branstetter, and his 79-year-old wife, Paula, also died when the plane sputtered, spiraled out of control and nosedived into the Winona Wildlife Management Area, about 45 miles west of Little Rock. Serna played at Eldorado High School in Albuquerque and led the Eagles to two state titles.

LSU is a unanimous No. 1 in both the coaches' poll and...

Mike Gundy: I Would Put Alabama Ahead of Oklahoma State in Rankings

With the way it stands, the BCS National Championship game is destined to be a rematch between LSU and Alabama. Assuming all of the relevant parties win out, it should be. LSU is the consensus No. 1 team in the nation and the only undefeated remaining. Alabama, who lost by three points in overtime to [...]

From the Coordinators: Bill Young

When the Bedlam game kicks off on Saturday there won't be anybody on the field or sidelines with more Bedlam experience than Bill Young. Young has seen the rivalry as a defensive end for Oklahoma State, as a graduate assistant for Oklahoma State, as a position coach for the Cowboys, as a defensive coordinator for Oklahoma, and now as a defensive coordinator for Oklahoma State.
