MIAMI (AP) -- David West scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, George Hill added 15 and the Indiana Pacers took home-court advantage away from Miami by beating the Heat 78-75 in Game 2 of the teams' Eastern Conference semifinal series Tuesday night. LeBron James scored 28 points for Miami and Dwyane Wade finished with 24, but both missed big chances for the Heat late. James missed two free throws with 54.3 seconds left and Miami down one, and Wade was short on a layup that would have tied the game with 16 seconds remaining. Mario Chalmers' 3-pointer to tie the game bounced away on the final play, and the series was tied 1-1. Danny Granger scored 11 points and Paul George added 10 for Indiana, which took advantage of Heat forward Chris Bosh's absence and outrebounded Miami 50-40.

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh has a strained abdominal muscle and will be out indefinitely, the team announced Monday after an MRI exam confirmed the injury. The 28-year-old Bosh suffered the injury in the first half of a 95-86 win over the Pacers on Sunday in the first game of the Eastern Conference semifinals. He had 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor and five rebounds...

For the Heat, the waiting game is under way. Bosh Could Miss Rest Of Heat And Pacers Series With Abdominal Muscle Injury

Injuries to key players most likely altered the outcome of the Post Season for the Chicago Bulls and the Orlando Magic; as the Bulls lost to the eighth seeded Philadelphia 76ers, after losing point guard Derrick Rose and center Joakim Noah and the Magic lost to the Indiana Pacers while center Dwight Howard underwent back surgery. The Miami Heat are now in a similar situation as...

Miami vs Indiana: Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?

It was pretty clear from Game 1 that this series is not going to be as easy as many predicted for the Heat. And while Bosh may not have been the best post presence, he is still talented down low on the offensive end and is far and away the most athletic “big man” the Heat have. Joel Anthony and Ronny Turiaf won’t have another five minute stretch like the second half they had...

2012 NBA Playoffs: Eastern Conference — A Cloudy Picture

Unlike the Western Conference, in which the 1st round went according to form, the Eastern Conference began with a huge upset. The Philadelphia 76ers became just the fifth #8 seed in NBA history to knock off the #1 seed, when they beat the Chicago Bulls in 6 games. Philly caught an enormous break when the Bulls leader Derrick Rose was lost for the series late in game 1 due to a torn...
