COLUMBUS, OH -- NC State advances to the third round of the NCAA tournament with a 79-65 win over San Diego State on Friday afternoon. Lorenzo Brown led the way with 17 points, nine assists and eight boards.

Outside of beating both San Diego State and UNLV twice during the regular season, the Lobos don’t really have a signature win. With a 28-6 overall record, their body of work is pretty impressive, but New Mexico has shown that they are very beatable. A 19-point loss to TCU as recent as February 25th makes me feel a little more at ease about tomorrow’s game.
