Fox Sports Wisconsin:
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers added a 12th wide receiver to their 90-man roster on Tuesday, signing one of the fastest players in pre-draft history in Terrell Sinkfield.
Sinkfieldcaused a stir with his blazing 40-yard dash speed back in March at the University of Minnesota pro day. He clocked in at 4.19 seconds in his second attempt in the 40-yard dash. That's faster than the NFL Combine record of 4.24 seconds, set by Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson in 2008.
Some questioned the legitimacy of the hand-timed reading, including ProFootballTalk.com, which said Sinkfield's time of 4.19 "doesn't pass the smell test." Then there was BusinessInsider.com, which broke down video of Sinkfield's run frame by frame and actually timed him at 4.16, a split-second faster than the original time of 4.19.
Sinkfield's time of 4.19 came after his first run was clocked at 4.27 seconds. Scouts on hand couldn't quite believe what they saw on their s...

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick gave the Green Bay Packers a pop quiz on the read-option in the 2012 playoff. They failed. The result was Kaepernick running wild and jettisoning the Packers from the playoffs with little regard. A lack of preparation and the fact the 49ers had run the offense in only the previous three games, made a perfect storm for the Packers...
With the start of the 2013 NFL regular season less than three months away, let’s take an updated look at the fantasy football landscape—ranking the Top 15 quarterbacks in the game. 1. Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers): In his fifth season as the starter, the former first-round pick (24th overall in 2005) continued to pile up the numbers, throwing for 4,295 yards and 39 touchdowns...
GREEN BAY, Wis. In an offseason that's been filled with questions about the Green Bay Packers' unproductive running game of recent years, coach Mike McCarthy finally felt comfortable enough to strongly proclaim his confidence that the 2013 season won't be like the three that preceded it.
"We'll be better, I can promise you that," McCarthy said Tuesday...
After failing to trade Desmond Bishop, the Green Bay Packers
are preparing to cut ties with the linebacker, according to ESPN Milwaukee.
According to an NFL source, barring an unlikely contract
restructure or trade, the Packers will be parting ways with Bishop, who missed
all of last season with a ruptured hamstring tendon suffered in the Aug. 9
preseason opener at San Diego....
1. Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers
Rodgers is the best there is, I had Tom Brady at this spot for years, but I now believe the king has been dethroned. Rodgers is hands down the most accurate passer in the league. Watching him throw the football is a thing of beauty. Rodgers complied over 4200 yards passing and threw 39 TDs in 2012. He is also undeniable one of the best quarterbacks...
Gilbert Pena, the Packers' 26-year-old rookie defensive tackle, gave up football and school for four years to be with his cancer-stricken mom. She's beaten the cancer and now Pena hopes to beat the odds as an undrafted free agent.
GREEN BAY, Wis. The six-year relationship between the Green Bay Packers and inside linebacker Desmond Bishop appears to be heading for a split. According to multiple reports, the Packers plan to release or trade Bishop unless they can agree to a restructured contract soon.
Bishop, 28, is scheduled to make 3.46 million for the 2013 season and 3.52 million for the 2014 season as...
The Packers are trying to force more fumbles and Desmond Bishop and Charles Woodson were two of the best on the team. Thus, a report of Bishop's possible release makes little sense, beyond dollars and cents.
