Papa John’s John Schnatter is kind of a big deal in Louisville. The face of the pizza empire not only has his headquarters there, he actually has donated more than $20 million to the University of Louisville. This donation included a $5 million lead gift in 1996 to help build the Cardinals’ football stadium, Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium — also known as “The Oven.” Pretty nice for a Ball State alum. So, needless to say, he was pretty fired up for his Cardinals, who topped Michigan for the national title on Monday night Atlanta. He was also celebrating very hard according to fans, who took a photo with him (and helped hold him up?), according to BroBible.com.
