NFL Injury Report:
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady left today's practice early with an unknown knee injury, according to Greg A. Bedard of The Monday Morning Quarterback.
Brady leaving practice after conferring with Belichick and McDaniels. Wise move

Earlier in today's session, Brady grabbed his left knee, the one that ended his 2008 season. He limped off the field, but returned soon after to the applause of onlookers. After that, Brady continued to monitor his knee, looking down at it uncomfortably as the session progressed. He stretched out on the sidelines and eventually left practice after talking with coaches.
There's been nothing official released -- and who knows when this will happen considering it's the Patriots -- but Bedard didn't get the sense that the injury is severe.
For what it's worth, Berj Najarian, Belichick's right-hand man, doesn't look concerned, hasn't left field

Of course, whenever an MVP candidate such as Tom Brady is involved, any nick or scrape turns severe instantly. This will certainly be something to monitor, but there's no indication that this will cause Brady to miss an extended period.

When a rookie WR gets the praise that Kenbrell Thompkins has received in Training Camp and his first preseason game, you need to take notice. Especially a WR that plays with Tom Brady.
