Reigning UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson wasn’t the only fighter to score a vicious knockout victory in a mixed martial arts main event on Saturday night. Across the pond at BAMMA 14, former UFC welterweight Paul Daley (pictured) one-upped Johnson with one of the most – if not, the most – violent walkoff uppercut KO’s in the history of ever.
Romario Manoel da Silva was on the receiving end of Daley’s highlight reel punch.
After nearly separating da Silva’s head from his body, Daley walked away with his palms to the ceiling as if to say, ‘No biggie. Just another day at the office.’ Meanwhile, da Silva was unconscious on the canvas for several minutes.
The stoppage came at the 1:42 mark in the second stanza.
BAMMA 14 took place inside LG Arena in Birmingham, England.
