Pedro started off his CBP debut by giving up a cheapish HR to Stephen Drew on the first at bat of the game. He settled down a bit from there, worked a double play, and got out of the first with only the one run on the board. He worked quick in the second, highlighted by an absolutely nasty breaking ball to get Rusty Ryal looking. He had another fairly easy go of it in the third and then the skies opened up and told Pedro that they'd like to see Grandpa Moyer on this evening. That was it for Petey in his CBP debut as the hour plus rain delay was too much to return to the mound from. Hopefully this awkward relief circumstance makes Moyer's bullpen debut a bit more like a regular start, something he's done, oh... a few times. [more photos below]
Thanks to The700Level.com reader JK for sending in these shots from the game. No word on whether or not aliens descended from the ominous skies.
