I’ll admit this much when I watch college basketball. I do keep an eye on the Florida State Seminoles. I’m not a Floridian or an alumnus from the university. Yes, Florida State finally gots its signature win. But unless the Seminoles use the W over North Carolina as a springboard to bigger and better things the rest of the way, it won't have meant very much.
A letdown was certainly possible, as Florida State did everything right three days prior in an upset of North Carolina. But the Seminoles kept their mojo with a double-digit win Tuesday over Maryland.

Florida State sand volleyball head coach Danalee Corso announced the 2012 sand volleyball schedule on Friday. The Seminoles are scheduled to host three events at the almost-completed Florida State Sand Volleyball Facility and will compete in 11 events overall.

Florida State University Director of Volleyball and indoor volleyball head coach Chris Poole has announced the introductory sand volleyball recruiting class that has signed its national letters of intent to play the inaugural sport beginning in 2012.
