Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh have a history together, they both coached in the PAC-10. Carroll ran the monster years of USC dominating, while Harbaugh flew a little under the radar until Andrew Luck brought Stanford out of darkness. The two know each other very well and Carroll even lambasted Harbaugh for running up the score on his team. Of coarse that was after Carroll had done that to just about every college team USC encountered. They now continue their rivalry in the NFC West and it’s as contentious as ever. This week Carroll has accused Harbaugh of trying to get an edge with the officials after a November game where Harbaugh complained about the play of the Seahawks cornerbacks, according to Matt Maiocco of csnbayarea.com. On Wednesday Carroll stated that Harbaugh was ‘just working the officials,” but then added: "Oh, come on, that was just coach speak," Carroll said in a conference call with Bay Area reporters. Carroll continued: "We didn't get our hands on many guys," Carroll said. "They were too good at the line of scrimmage. We had trouble getting a hold of those guys. We were working at it, but I don't know where that came from. "I did go back and look at the film to see what Jim was talking about. And I had trouble seeing why there was a complaint. But the fact that he did, he was just trying to get some help from the officials, I think." "We have corners who are good-sized guys and who can run like crazy," Carroll said. "And they've been coached in the same style. We're not changing our style drastically by changing personnel. We got guys we picked who play the way we like to play." The bad part is Brandon Browner is already out on suspension for PED’s and Richard Sherman looks to be heading to the suspension line as soon as Friday. So, Harbaugh may not have to worry about being his receivers being locked up, they may be able to run free.     var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
