Peyton Manning can do a lot of things. He can return from a career ending type of injury to have a career type season; his acting chops are pretty solid (as he's proven numerous times on SNL); he's a good pitchman; he's a Dad; he's a fundraiser for charity--but singer?
Well--if he wasn't before he is now (with a little help from country music star Luke Bryan).
Peyton does appear to do his best not to mangle the great Johnny Cash song Folsom Prison Blues. He didn't stink, but I certainly wouldn't rush out to buy his album either.
For those that are big fans of the great Johnny Cash:

It’s not very often you get to see Peyton Manning do something outside of his comfort zone, mainly because he does so many things so well. Well that’s about to change. According to a story via Maggie Hendricks of Yahoo Sports, the Denver Broncos quarterback was in Indianapolis recently for the Celebration of Caring Gala for the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. While there...
By the time these four minutes are all said and done, you almost can't tell the real Peyton Manning face from the painting -- save for the fact that it's done in black and white, of course.
While it wasn’t surprising to see Broncos QB Peyton Manning rubbing elbows at the Celebration of Caring Gala for the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, seeing that the hospital bears his name and all, it was a bit of a pleasant shock to see Manning take the stage alongside country singer Luke Bryan for some impromptu karaoke, as the two belted out the Johnny...

Peyton Manning channeled his best Johnny Cash impression for a great cause as he participated in a Children’s Hospital Gala this weekend. Luke Bryan was the entertainment down in Indy for the event, but it was Peyton who stole the show when he joined the country star on stage singing Folsom Prison Blues.

Peyton Manning and country music star Luke Bryan teamed up at a charity event in Indianapolis to bring us this rendition of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues."
To a certain brand of very, very serious football analyst, there is nothing more respected than watching and absorbing game tape. According to them, if you’re truly committed to football, you should be watching no less tape than, say, Jon Gruden’s average of 20 hours a day. Otherwise, YOU DON’T GET IT and YOU’LL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE GAME.
The above video is game tape evangelist...
IMPORTANT: Peyton Manning signing “Folsom Prison Blues”. This happened over the weekend at a gala benefiting the Children’s Hospital that bears his name. A nice gesture, though I really would like to see Pey-Pey do a prison concert tour. Prison folks are real folk! They drink Gatorade! Also, I thought Peyton only sang with Kenny Chesney. Who’s this Luke Bryan and why is he...
Hopefully I can Ball right away Juan…
Any fantasy RB that plays next to Peyton Manning will have extremely good value. See Dominic Rhodes and Knowshon Moreno. Montee Ball has plenty of experience and unfortunately plenty of carries of his resume as well (983). Ball is a hard runner that likes to punish would be tacklers, but isn’t s shifty runner in the open field. He...
