The Philadelphia Eagles have been adding wide receivers to their roster as rookie head coach Chip Kelly is trying to figure out which players to keep on his roster for the 2013 season. The Eagles now have 13 receivers on their roster after adding an interesting project, a 6-foot-7 pass catcher that can run a 4.4-40.
CSNPhilly reports that Philadelphia has signed Boston College receiver Ifeanyi Momah to a three-year deal, no financial terms have been released.
Momah went undrafted last season after suffering a knee injury but worked out recently for the Eagles. His last game was September 11, 2011 when he hauled in eight receptions for 157 yards before suffering his knee injury. Momah recorded 39 receptions for 629 yards and six scores during his time with the BC Eagles.
It’s likely that Philadelphia made the move since their linebacker’s coach, Bill McGovern was a coach at Boston College during Momah’s stay.
