Total Titans: After eight games, what can you tell us about Ryan Tannehill? Can he be the franchise quarterback the Dolphins have been looking for since Dan Marino retired? What are his strengths and weaknesses so far?
Phins Phocus: I feel as a Dolphins fan it would be going into very dangerous waters even mentioning Tannehill's name in the same sentence as Dan Marino but I will say after 8 games his debut has been a success. Tannehill has looked rock solid early as he has been able to keep up with the game speed of the NFL and have success early in his career. Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak said quarterback Jake Locker will start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday barring any setbacks.

According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, Titans QB Jake Locker is expected to start on Sunday.
Head Coach Mike Munchak stated that Locker would start barring any sort of “mental or physical setback“.

The Titans plan to place guard Leroy Harris on Injured Reserve, which will end his 2012 season.
Harris suffered a partially torn ACL in the teams October 28 loss to the Colts. He got a second opinion from doctors on Tuesday, and they confirmed the news.

Titans' defense always on the brink of disaster
Last week the Tennessee Titans moved defensive coordinator Jerry Gray from the field to upstairs in the booth.
The result in a 51-20 home loss to Chicago was that Gray's defense allowed more points -- 37 -- than it had on average all season, as the Bears special teams and defense each kicked in a touchdown.

The Titans re-signed OG Kyle DeVan and added former Packers DE Jarius Wynn on Wednesday. They placed OG Leroy Harris on injured reserve.
DeVan has played in 36 games with 25 starts in three seasons, most recently he appeared in five games with four starts for the Eagles last season.
