I do not even know where to begin with this! The fine folks of Taiwan really like Lakers’ Kobe Bryant. I mean reallllllllyyyyy like Kobe. But after seeing this sculpture of Bryant depicted as “Achilles” (see what the artist did there?) I have to say his fans in Asia worship him as a god. Check out this sculpture of Kobe as “Achilles” complete with a mamba (again see what the artist did?) wrecking his Achilles much like the arrow that took down the mythical legend of Achilles. Los Angeles Lakers: Kobe Bryant’s New Challenge

Kobe Bryant: ‘I’m 70 in basketball years’

Brandon Jennings Claims Kobe Bryant Is “The Greatest Ever”, MJ Had More Help

The real surprising thing about this is that it’s Brandon Jennings saying that Kobe is the greatest basketball player ever, and not Kobe implying that himself. “@Jake_OohKillEm: @BrandonJennings what r u trying to say!?” – Kobe really the greatest ever — BRANDON JENNINGS (@BrandonJennings) August 19, 2014 Controversially, Jennings based his argument on the teams that each...

Is a Healthy Kobe Enough to Lead LA Back to the Playoffs?

Last season, the storied Los Angeles franchise had arguably it’s worst season in almost a decade, with an abysmal record of 27-55, only a .329 win percentage. With the deteriorating health and age of superstar Kobe Bryant and the loss of big man Pau Gasol, many fans in purple and gold are left to wonder, “what’s next?”. After a disappointingly mediocre 2012-13 campaign(which...

Kobe Bryant Doesn’t Want ‘Derek Jeter Treatment’

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who is currently in the mist of the latter stages of his career, knows the sun is about to set on what will be a Hall of Fame tenure with the only franchise he has called home.  Much like New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, who is calling it quits following the 2014 season, Kobe is likely only going to play for one team throughout an extensive...
