Edmonton Oilers center Sam Gagner was the recipient of a brutal high stick from Vancouver Canucks forward Zack Kassian and took to Twitter to share the damage on Monday.
Seen here is a busted up Gagner, who suffered a broken jaw when Kassian violently swung and struck Gagner in the face during a recent preseason game.
Kassian has been suspended for the rest of the preseason, the first five games of the regular season, and will lose $22,500 in salary.
Meanwhile, Gagner is slated to undergo corrective surgery on Tuesday, and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

Edmonton Oilers centre Sam Gagner will miss some time to start the season.
The team announced on Sunday that Gagner will be out indefinitely with a broken jaw suffered in a preseason game with the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
