North Carolina went all out for Military Appreciation Day, turning both the team’s uniforms and the playing field into impressive patriotic displays. Apparently some of its fans wanted to get in on the action too. One UNC supporter went as far as to don a Captain America costume and a stars/stripes Speedo. I’m not sure this is what the Tar Heels were thinking when they asked fans to show their American pride.
