TEAMS: Oregon Ducks
With all of the third round NCAA Tournament games in the books, we officially have our Sweet 16 roster set for next weekend. To celebrate the occasion, of course, the NCAA has approved four T-Shirt designs to be sold at participating schools. I don’t particularly like three of the graphics, but one stands out as wearable – the grey shirt with “Sweet 16″ and each school’s logo positioned diagonally. Do you agree, or like another one better? You can pick one up at the Oregon Ducks’ online store. goducks.com goducks.com   goducks.com   goducks.com

2013 NFL Draft: DE Dion Jordan Scouting Report

Teams in the NFL are quickly learning that the need for a good running attack has fallen on top of the league’s endangered species list. The recently approved new rule changes will make this task very difficult, so you better be able to throw the football. With the advent of a pass-happy NFL, defenses will need more hybrid players on the field that can rush the quarterback and still...

Oregon Embracing Underdog Role & Looking Forward To The Challenge

Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks have embraced the underdog role. Somehow after finishing the season with a record of 26-8 and winning the Pac 12 championship, the NCAA selection committee thought that warranted a 12-seed. In their first two NCAA tournament games, Oregon has without a doubt made a statement. The Ducks knocked off No. 5 seed Oklahoma State and No. 4 seed St. Louis...

An Overall Look At Oregon’s Road To The Sweet 16

Somehow someway the Oregon Ducks were given a twelve seed in this year’s NCAA tournament. Finishing in third place in the PAC-12 doesn’t warrant a top seed necessarily, but when you look at the Ducks overall resume, it’s truly stunning to see how they got shafted on selection Sunday. Fortunately for Oregon, a bad seed hasn’t slowed them down one bit. The Ducks knocked off...

Oregon blows past Saint Louis 74-57 in 3rd round

Dwayne Evans choked up talking about how he will remember his junior season at Saint Louis. Finally, he pulled his shirt over his head and walked off the stage. From the death of coach Rick Majerus in December to all the uncertainty that followed, it was one of the few questions the Billikens had no answer for this year. Kwamain Mitchell scored 18 points and Evans had 16 points...

Louisville will play the Oregon Ducks next Friday at 7:15 PM EST.  The Duke/Michigan State game will be played 30 minutes after the end of the Louisville game.  CBS is taking the Indianapolis regional games on their network and are sending Clark Kellogg (sigh) and Jim Nantz out to call the games.  If we are looking for a bright side, we are getting to look at the the beautiful...
