Jeffrey agreed to a one-year contract worth $625,000, which is a $50,000 increase from his cap hit last year ($575,000). The 25 year-old recorded 6 points (3 goals and 3 assists) in 25 regular season games with the Penguins. Jeffrey, who was drafted by Pittsburgh in the sixth round of the 2007 NHL Draft, was a restricted free agent before signing today.
