Looks like the Steelers are ready to put all their eggs in Le’Veon Bell’s basket as they’ve let go of Isaac Redman in an attempt to clear up some roster space.
The team announced they would be letting go of Redman in order to promote linebacker Kion Wilson from the practice squad.
Redman who had been inactive for the past three week should have his fair share of teams interested in him. With Redman out of the picture it leaves the Steelers backfield with Bell, Jonathan Dwyer, and Felix Jones.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu made a valiant effort to time the snap on an extra point block attempt against Baltimore during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game at Heinz Field. Polamalu made a nice leap over the Ravens center, but he was just a bit too early. Still, Polamalu gets an 'A' for effort on this play. H/T BR. Visit us at holdoutsports.com...
Pittsburgh Steelers third-year cornerback Curtis Brown hasn't lived up to expectations as a defensive back since he was drafted in the third-round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Texas and he found himself on the inactive list this past week for the Sunday game against the Baltimore Ravens.
During his Tuesday press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin was asked about his decision...
Quarterback: Ben Roethlisberger didn’t come away from this game with fancy numbers, and you have to believe that it had something to do with the game plan. He played very conservatively against the Ravens. Roethlisberger got the ball out of his hands very quickly on most of his passes. Rarely did we see Ben try to extend plays. Roethlisberger played well; he missed a couple of...
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie RB Le'Veon Bell had a hard time getting on the field early on in the season due to a foot injury, but now it's tough to get him off of it as well. Bell has been excellent in sparking the offense and helping the team win two straight after their bye and getting them back in the race in the AFC North. His versatility to fit any type of blocking scheme...
The Pittsburgh Steelers have won two straight games. The Steelers beat their divisional rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, 19-16 in dramatic fashion.
Shaun Suisham kicked a game winning field goal in the final seconds to lift the Steelers over the Ravens. Suisham just might be the team’s MVP so far this season. The kicker deserves a lot of credit.
Suisham was a perfect 4 for 4 against...
The Steelers have parted ways with running back Isaac Redman.Fantasy Spin:Redman began the year as the starter but inconsistency quickly landed him on the bench. Le'Veon Bell has since taken over as the starter with Felix Jones getting some work in on third downs. Redman could make sense for the Buccaneers with Doug Martin likely out for the season (torn labrum).
You can't count on the Steelers to win all the time now. Ben Roethlisberger? Not the same fantasy friendly QB he used to be. You certainly can't count on the running game for much, and even the defense these days is not as beastly as it once was. However, you can always count on one thing.

Don’t look now, but the Pittsburgh Steelers, who started the season with four straight losses, aren’t dead in the water yet. With their latest victory, a three-point walk off win over the Ravens, the Steelers are back in the AFC North picture, and they’re looking for more.
After starting 0-4, the Steelers caught a break with an early bye week. Sunday’s game against the...
Did anyone else expect to see Ben Roethlisberger go all Jim Valvano and run across the Heinz Field turf desperately looking for Charlie Batch after Sunday’s game?
Aren’t Batch and Roethlisberger supposed to engage in a minute-long bro hug whenever Shaun Suisham kicks a last-second field goal in a Pittsburgh Steelers’ win over the Baltimore Ravens?
Suisham’s 42-yard field...
The Steelers win over the Ravens last night was enormous for many, many reasons. The first of which is probably just the elation of victory sweeping through Steeler Nation right now. But there are some other things we like about this win that will help the Steelers flip this season around.
1. The AFC North Is Up for Grabs
Can't repeat this enough. The AFC playoff...

We have seen Troy do this so many times, where he appears to have a six sense about the snap count. Not so much here. See the GIF below:

Troy Polamalu has been showing flashes of his old self these past few weeks, and it reprises his former role of best defender in the game when he absolute crushes Ravens wide receiver Tandon Doss coming across the middle.
As is always the case with Polamalu, he took a blow while giving one as well. Kudos to Doss for hanging on as well.
A few more hits like that, and this thing...
Things are finally looking up for fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers after a historically bad start to their season. After gaining their first win of the season against the New York Jets in Week 6, the Steelers backed this up with a crucial victory over division rivals the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7 to improve to a much more hopeful, but still not good 2-4.A quick side note on the Ravens...

The Pittsburgh Steelers enter the second half clinging to a four-point lead after relinquishing an 11th hour turnover on a Heath Miller fumble that led to a Baltimore Ravens field goal to end the half with the score of 10-6. The Ravens open the second half with the ball after deferring on the opening coin toss.
Jacoby Jones returned the opening kickoff out to the...
