ST. PAUL, Minn. Jason Pominville has had to sit and watch his Minnesota Wild teammates take on the Chicago Blackhawks in the playoffs.
Pominville, Minnesota's big trade deadline acquisition, might not have to watch much longer.
Pominville, out with an "upper-body injury," participated in the Wild's morning skate Tuesday, his second straight day on the ice with his teammates, and is a game-time decision for Game 4 Tuesday night.
"I don't know yet to be honest with you," Pominville said after Tuesday's morning skate. "I'm just doing my best, trying to get the proper treatment done, doing my best to get back to where I need to be, and that decision will be up to the coach, but I'm headed in the right direction, that's for sure."
Wild coach Mike Yeo didn't rule Pominville out, but left open the decision whether he could return Tuesday night. Pominville had four goals and five assists in 10 games for Minnesota after being acquired from the Buffalo Sabres at the trade deadline.
