Hornqvist, who was injured January 16 in a game against the Anaheim Ducks, will be taken off injured reserve prior to the start of the game. Hornqvist will bring much more net front presence, which will help the power play that has been awful of late. This game against the Avalanche is the first of back-to-back games. Tuesday, the Predators return to the Music City and take on rival Detroit Red Wings. With Tuesday night being a bigger game, expect Chris Mason to start so Pekka Rinne can get some rest to play Detroit. The keys to win is 1) Pucks, people to the net; 2) Get the power play working again; and 3) Win the game early. Avalanche: After blowing a 4-1 lead Saturday night to the Edmonton Oilers in regulation 4-6, Colorado is mad and want to get the two points they should have had Saturday. Semyon Varlamov has to be the angriest man in the locker room being left out to dry having 56 shots being put on him.  The loss of Gabriel Landeskog has hurt them extremely. Landeskog is starting to skate after being put on injured reserve with a head injury. Also, losing defenseman Erik Johnson has to hurt as well since he is their number one guy on the back end. Johnson is also out with a head injury. In hope of defensive support, the Avalanche called up Stefan Elliott from the AHL. Without forward Ryan O'Reilly, Colorado is losing a scoring threat. O'Reilly is looking to be traded and has yet to play a game for the club. He is quickly burning bridges with fans and team mates with his no show so far this season.
