The Nashville Predators attempt to regain fans and bring them back together this Saturday, January 10, hosting what they call a "Kickoff Celebration" from 9:30am - 3pm. The event will be held at Bridgestone Arena, where many fans haven't been since Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Phoenix Coyotes.  A player-led practice will be the highlight of the event that will start at 10am and finish at noon, giving fans plenty of time to check out their players in time for the season. Below is the press release by the Nashville Predators.         Nashville, Tenn. – This Saturday, Jan. 12 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m., the Nashville Predators will host a free and open-to-the-public Kickoff Celebration at Bridgestone Arena. The Kickoff Celebration is highlighted by an open house; public Captains’ team practice; visits from Preds personalities Gnash and the Ladies of Smashville; and $0.50 cent concessions. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to pre-purchase tickets for the first two home games of the 2012-13 season. This special pre-sale will only be available at the Bridgestone Arena Box Office. Tickets for the entire 2012-13 season will go on sale through all outlets once the schedule is released. WHAT:      Nashville Predators Kickoff Celebration WHERE:   Bridgestone Arena (501 Broadway, Nashville) WHEN:     This Saturday, January 12 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.                   Player-led Team Practice – Players are expected to take the ice between 10 a.m. and noon STH NOTES: Season Ticket Holders in attendance will have the opportunity to learn about digital ticketing, reprint tickets (if necessary), use their Season Ticket Holder Discount in the Pro Shop and learn what’s new on Smashville Rewards. EVENTS: Events from the day include: a scheduled, informal Captains’ practice; a pre-sale for the first two home games of the Nashville Predators 2012-13 season; $0.50 cent concessions; an open house where new and prospective Season Ticket Holders can scout out their seats for the 2012-13 season; extended weekend Pro Shop hours; photo opportunities; visits from Gnash and the Ladies of Smashville; face painters; and afternoon youth hockey programming.
