When it comes to raw talent, New York Mets prospect Wuilmer Becerra fits the bill.  Included in the R.A. Dickey deal, Becerra was originally signed as an international free agent in 2011 by the Toronto Blue Jays.  The physical tools are there for this kid, its just a matter of him developing his skills to go along with them. Mike Rosenbaum of Bleacher Report talks about his short 2012 season in a December 2012 article he wrote, Sadly, an errant pitch from the Yankees’ Graham Stoneburner hit Becerra flush in the face in his 11th career game, breaking his jaw and prematurely ending his season. This kid is tall, and at 6 feet 4 inches he is clearly going to be able to use that to his advantage as he matures.  Just by looking at him you can tell his height comes mostly from his legs.  As he develops, his long stride should benefit him in the outfield, and hopefully he’ll be able to use it to his advantage on the base paths.
