Training camp. The most monotonous time of the year for spoiled, millionaire NFL players as they dorm it up for like college freshmen several weeks before the regular season. With camps beginning to open across the league, players are getting ready to endure those weeks of monotony.
That includes Bears cornerback D.J. Moore, who for an unknown reason didn’t bringing a TV with...
Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice is standing firm behind his words that the battle at left tackle will be a fierce on and that the position is “wide open”.
This was anticipated however, as many figured the most intense battle of camp would be at the left tackle position. Incumbent J’Marcus Webb is currently listed first on the depth chart but Tice let it be...
Perhaps no player is better prepared to deal with the thought of losing his job than Bears defensive end Israel Idonije. No player better exemplifies the cliche of lunch pail player than this Bears player.
Idonije has been nothing short of a strong stable reliable player his entire career in Chicago. He plays well and gets the most out of his ability. He's not special...
The Chicago Bears have added a name o their training camp roster. A day after they opened camp Chicago has traded a seventh round draft pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for defensive tackle Brian Price.
Price was a second round draft pick out of UCLA for the Bucs in 2010, a year in which they doubled up on defensive lineman (selecting Gerald McCoy third overall...
The Chicago Bears have signed Kahlil Bell to a one-year contract, bringing back the running back with Matt Forte's status uncertain.
Forte left Thursday's loss to Green Bay with what several outlets reported was a high right ankle sprain. Bell, who was waived last month, played 20 games for the Bears over three seasons and made three starts, including the final two last...
During Friday’s practice, Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester left the field shaken up after a collision with safety Major Wright. Hester went over the middle and hauled in a pass and went down after getting entangled with Wright. He was brought to the sidelines rather slowly where he received attention from the trainers. He [...]

He’s in a contract season but you wouldn’t know that from the way he’s acting. Normally when superstar athletes are in the final year of their deal, they hold out for more money. Jacksonville is experiencing this with Maurice Jones-Drew and the Bears avoided a situation like that by sorting out Matt Forte’s contract earlier [...]

Today was the second day of practice in Bourbannais. Tomorrow night the first padded practice will take place at 7:00 p.m.
Lance Briggs had some funny things to say about meetings during training camp. Specifically with linebackers coach Bob Babich.
I’m just excited about everything, going into long, boring meetings going over the same stuff, covering a lot of the same materials...
For all the optimism after that offseason makeover, the Chicago Bears are facing some familiar questions.
Many center on the offensive line.
''You know, that's fine,'' tackle Chris Williams said. ''We'll take the challenge. We'll come out and work hard every day.''
How high the payoff is could go a long way toward determining whether...
The Chicago Bears have traded an undisclosed 2013 draft pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for defensive tackle Brian Price.
Cornerback Sam Shields put an exclamation point on a terrific rookie season by picking off two passes in the 2010 NFC Championship Game against the Chicago Bears. Then a funny thing happened on his way to stardom. The former college wide receiver shied away from contact and gave up nine passes of 20 yards or [...]
Seeking to strengthen their defensive line, the Chicago Bears took a flyer on underachieving DT Bryan Price Thursday, acquiring the third-year UCLA product in a trade with Tampa Bay. In return, it is believed the Bears gave up a late round draft choice, possibly a seventh rounder. Price capped off a stellar collegiate career in Westwood and became the 35th [...]
Today was the first day of practice for the Bears in Bourbonnais.
The first padded practice will take place on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
Offensive lineman Chris Williams is competing with J'Marcus Webb for the starting gig at left tackle.
He doesn't seemed to worried about the battle with Webb.
You just come in and keep working hard like I always do, and let that...
